Build On The Perfect Site
Love the Street? Rebuild Instead of Renovating
Sometimes renovating just doesn’t stack up. The layout is wrong, the stumps have shifted, and by the time you’ve fixed everything you’ve spent more than a new build would have cost. A knock down rebuild gives you a home designed for how your family lives now — on the land you already own, in the suburb you don’t want to leave.
You deal with one team and one contract. We coordinate the demolition, service disconnections, council approvals, engineering and the full build, so there are no gaps between trades and no timelines for you to chase.
How a Knock Down Rebuild Works
- Feasibility and design — we look at your block’s orientation, slope, setbacks and what you want from the new home, then design to suit the site.
- Approvals — we prepare and manage the demolition approval and the building approval, including any overlays that apply to your property.
- Demolition and disconnections — services are disconnected and the old house is demolished and removed.
- Rebuild — construction of your new custom home through to handover.
Our Commitment
What Drives the Cost of a Knock Down Rebuild
A rebuild carries costs a standard new build doesn’t, so we lay them out early:
- Demolition and removal — including site clearing and disposal.
- Service disconnection and reconnection — power, water, sewer and gas.
- Asbestos — older homes may need licensed removal, which we identify before demolition.
- Ground conditions — reactive clay, old drainage or shifted stumps common in the Redlands can affect the new slab and footings.
- The new home itself — design, size and specification.
Because we’ve pulled apart plenty of older homes across Cleveland, Ormiston and Wellington Point, we know what tends to sit under them — and we plan for it before the demolition starts, rather than discovering it mid-build.
